The system, called as vibration analysis board, is a demonstration board which detects the vibration of the board and measures the acceleration in all three axes(X, Y and Z) because of this motion. This information is displayed using the different color LEDs placed in three axes.
The system can detect the tilt of the board and this information is displayed using the Bi-color led placed at the center of the board.
The board can also be configured to detect the circular motion of the board and LED patterns are generated depending on the motion of the board.
The system is also provided with the demonstration mode, in which different LED patterns get displayed irrespective of the position/motion of the board making the system suitable for exhibitions and seminars.
There are three musical modes in which the music/rhythm is played as per the mode/motion of the board and there are three silent modes making total of six different modes of operation of the system. The system can be switched from one mode to other by pressing an onboard push button designated MODE.
The system is put on the standby whenever there is no motion of the board for more than 10 seconds, reducing the power consumption of the system. The system wakes up from standby whenever any vibration/motion is detected. The system also monitors the battery and user can check the battery status at any time. Whenever the low battery is detected the system alerts the user to change the battery and enters into halt mode to avoid any misbehavior of the system.
The board is having free MCU I/Os for the external interface. Also SWIM connector is provided on the board providing the in circuit debugging capability.
The system can be powered up using 3 AAA batteries of 1.5 V each.
The board is of circular shape with total dimensions of 84 mm diameter and 26 mm height.
The board is RoHS compliant.

ST is the first to host full 5-line ESD protection in a 1 mm² package

While competing devices can propose 4 lines in 1 mm² at best, the ESDALC6V1-5T6 and ESDA6V1-5T6 provide the smallest 5-line ESD protection housed in a 1 mm x 1 mm micro-DFN package with a thickness of only 0.4 mm. They offer a real integrated solution to be compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 ESD for PCBs with stringent size constraints.
The ESDALC6V1-5T6 (line capacitance: 9 pF) and ESDA6V1-5T6 (line capacitance: 34 pF) - in addition to their size - offer excellent clamping performances below 50 V together with high ESD robustness up to 15 kV contact discharge. These innovative products have already been adopted by one of our major smartphone manufacturers.More
