‘Acrich 2′ has been increased more than 90% in power efficiency by improving the power factor up to 97% comparing to previous version of ‘Acrich’ of Seoul Semiconductor, and the THD has become lower than 25% to comply with the requirement of each country  including DOE and others. Through cutting edge technology on IC, the lighting manufactures can be directly pluged into the wall without considering any electrical conditions.

Lineage Power Signs ION Associates

PLANO, TX (June 1, 2010) – Lineage Power Corporation, a Gores Group company and the first name in power, today announced a new manufacturers’ representative agreement with ION Associates, Inc. of Dallas, TX. According to the agreement, ION Associates will be responsible for selling Lineage Power’s end-to-end, AC-DC power supplies and DC-DC board mounted power modules for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the Southwestern U.S. region of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas, as well as Mexico. The agreement gives electrical and mechanical design engineers in this region access to Lineage Power’s Tunable Loop™ and Total Efficiency™ technologies that reduce risks, accelerate development schedules and lower costs while reducing space requirements.

Spellman de México celebra en ceremonia de inauguración la apertura de su nuevo edificio certificado LEED ORO en Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

Importantes representantes del Gobierno Estatal, Municipal, y del Sindicato estuvieron presentes en la ceremonia.

Agosto 17, 2011 – Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México – Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, el líder Manufacturador mundial de productos personalizados para la conversión de energía en alto voltaje, se enorgullece de anunciar la apertura de su más reciente planta de manufactura en Matamoros, México.

La nueva planta de Spellman de México es una edificio verde de vanguardia construido con la colaboración de la Corporación FINSA (Constructores de Edificios y Parques Industriales) para cumplir con los estándares de la Certificación LEED (por las siglas en Inglés de Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) en su nivel ORO, el cual reemplazará a la actual planta 1. El Gobernador del Estado de Tamaulipas, el Presidente Municipal de Matamoros, la Gerencia de FINSA, así como importantes representantes sindicales y de otros proveedores principales de tecnología verde participaron en la ceremonia de inauguración.

Las nuevas instalaciones de Spellman abarcan una superficie de 136,000 pies cuadrados (con la opción de crecer hasta 162,000 pies cuadrados) apoyarán la creación de nuevas competencias técnicas y de manufactura y para aumentar la capacidad de manufactura actual.

Loren Skeist, Presidente de Spellman, comentó durante su discurso: “Me gustaría felicitar a los dirigentes y empleados de Spellman de México por su compromiso con la mejora continua y por entregar a tiempo productos de la más alta calidad. Major Prescott Expansion Nearly Doubles Plant Size, Triples Plant Capacity.

The Bergquist Company has broke ground for a major expansion of its Prescott, Wisconsin facility. The new 30,000 square foot addition will nearly double the plant size, allowing the facility to triple its production capacity. The addition will be built on the east side of the present building. The new facility will be completed by July 2011, tripling its capacity. Amazingly the combined operation, with upgrades in place, will use less water and generate less waste than its current operation.

The Thermal Substrates group has been in Prescott since 1997. The group designs and manufactures thermal substrates and circuits for heat-sensitive applications. The products are used in automotive and industrial applications, as well as in the generation of solar power.With doubled sales, the increase is largely a result of the rapidly growing LED lighting market. All key operations are done entirely in the US, exporting more than half of its products to customers in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Bergquist invests heavily in research and development of new products, and is excited about the growth prospects for this plant.
